Ben Hogan started building mobile apps in 2008, at a time when the UK didn't have a single app agency.
He founded one — growing it from just himself to 100 staff in six years, and selling it in 2015. He worked on every project along the way, including apps for IKEA and 30 Day Fitness. Even a throwaway egg timer passed a million downloads.
Now, Ben is pioneering the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into mobile interfaces, helping founders build the next 'Deliveroo' of the AI era.
The TV Moment That Changed Everything
Ben introduced the world of mobile apps on BBC Three's “Be Your Own Boss” to both Richard Reed and Richard Branson.
At the time, Richard Reed had never heard of apps. This introduction opened his eyes to the mobile revolution.
